excellent staff ,very good snorkelling , nice beach , large variety of buffet foods , good accommodations . Superb whale-shark tour .

It was our second time so we already knew what to expect. But still they were able to pleasantly suprise us. Everything was superb, staff is super fast and attentive, organisation is on the highest level. Food was very good, accomodation perfect. Island is well maintained. And ofc. the reef. We have visited many resorts but still this one is our favorite because it has fantastic rich coral reef perfect for long snorkeling. Infinity pool is also one of the stars of the resort. All in all the whole resort and people working there makes you feel relaxed and just enjoy.

Vilamendhoo offers a variety of different excursions which are in my eyes a highlight of this island. Staff is open to fulfill your wishes regarding everything.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Vilamendhoo. It was our first time to the Maldives and this resort surpassed our expectations. We spent most of our holiday underwater, either snorkeling around the house reef or diving on the excursions organised by the dive centre. The house reef was incredible - we saw an abundance of sharks, rays, a huge array of fish, octopus etc. We couldn't have asked for better!!! We actually saw a lot more snorkeling around the house reef (for free!) than we did on the diving trips. We spent half of our stay in a water villa with jacuzzi, and half of our stay in a beach villa - I highly recommend this combo! It made the holiday slightly more cost effective but also allowed us to experience different sides to the island. The water villa was a dream... being able to snorkel right outside it was perfect and it was a lovely place to watch the sunset. It was a spacious room with a large bathroom and as it was our anniversary at this time of year, they made a lovely bed display which was a nice touch. The beach villa was also wonderful; not quite as luxurious but came with loungers right on the beach and again - very easy access to the incredible house reef. Both north and south side of the island are good for different reasons! We also loved the food in both restaurants and the infinity pool and I adore the fact that you can remain barefooted for your entire stay. I didn't wear shoes for a week! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, particularly in the restaurants. The sea plane was very expensive but it was an unforgettable experience! Thank you for a lovely stay. If we return to the Maldives, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We just returned from an incredible stay at Vilamendhoo! Never bean in September but we had a perfect holiday dispute raining two days. Accommodations: The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, making it the perfect home away from home. Food: The dining experience at Asian Wok is exceptional. Each meal was a delightful journey. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, truly elevating our all-inclusive experience. Snorkeling: The snorkeling here is phenomenal! The house reef is teeming with life! Swimming with manta rays on house reef near Asian Wok restaurant was the highlight of our stay. We also spotted white and black tip sharks, turtles, eagle rays and hundreds of colorful fish, all on the house reef! If you snorkell every day, you will se amazing stuff underwater. Although the reef is not what it was 12 years ago, it still has its beatuties and some coral is recovering. Bars: The bars were top-notch, offering a fantastic selection of cocktails and beverages. The staff was always ready with a smile, making our time at the bar just as enjoyable as our time in the water. Staff: Speaking of the staff, they truly went above and beyond. Every member was friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home. Overall Experience: The all-inclusive package at Vilamendhoo is simply perfect. Every aspect of our stay was catered to perfection, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.
